The new call addresses small and medium-sized enterprises, under the Eurostars programme, as part of the EUREKA European platform for research and development funding. The deadline for proposals submission is 30 September 2010.
The aim of this funding scheme is to promote the development of new products, processes or services with civilian purposes, irrespective of the technological area.
The type of project must be a collaborative one, with a minimum of two participants (legal entities) from two different participating countries, and the main participant should be a research-performing SME.
A project presented for the Eurostars programme must be market-oriented, striving to have a product ready for launch within tow years of project completion.
The Eurostars Programme is designed for research and innovation SMEs located in the a Eurostars participating country and which invest 10% or more of full-time equivalent or annual turnover in research activities.
